Whittle Tweed FR Upholstery

Our new British-made 100% Wool Upholstery Collection. Whittle Tweed has a provenance dating back over 400 yrs to the late 16th century, where the Whittle & Devices families, known as the ‘Pendle Witches’ eked out their existence by spinning wool for local Lancashire weavers. 

Today using wool from Cheviot Sheep, it’s still dyed, spun, woven and finished in the UK combining traditional skills with new creative techniques, resulting in a range of upholstery tweeds with an exceptionally soft and luxurious feel. Natural and stunning this high performance FR collection meets Crib 5 and IMO with an abrasion of 51K making it suitable for a wide range of contract applications, from loose and fixed upholstery in pubs and restaurants to stunning chairs and sofas in hotel receptions, offices and cruise interiors.
